Post covid (but still) keeping house

There will be and most definitely be a bash,
A shindig, a hootenanny, a knee’s up, a sort of party.
There must be a celebration, also commiseration,
Beating depression and a respected hat tip to key workers
Who worked, worked, worked and guess what worked.
We saw it all, lived it all, more than a day in the life in
A year of that something evil - that shall not be named.
For all those with me, behind me and beside me
I promise there will be merriment and a time
For shaking loose and letting our hair down
All post “that thing” but whilst still keeping house.
Still doing our thing after the year of everything!
